Specifications include, but are not limited to: MDHS is seeking to establish a contract with a vendor to provide Language Interpretation & Translation Services. Contractor shall provide language interpretation and translation services to Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Hearing-Impaired individuals to provide meaningful access to services offered by MDHS. Contractor shall provide the following categories of services: Qualified Interpreters: The Contractor shall provide interpreters proficient in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, French (including Patois and Cajun), Tagalog, Hindi, Korean, German, Russian, and other languages as required. Each interpreter must possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in comprehensive language interpretation services and demonstrate proficiency through independent assessment.
