The product must meet the following requirements: Shelf Life: The spring water must possess a minimum of 18 months (546 days) of total shelf life. Packaging: The spring water must be packaged as 24 / 500 mL or 16.9 Fluid Ounce PET Plastic Bottles, per Case. Classification: Water, Spring, Natural Source, Bottled. Natural Source: Water must be collected from a recognized natural spring source, recognized by the Federal EPA. Ingredients: Product must solely contain natural spring water. Bottle Caps: Bottles must possess screw type caps with breakaway plastic seal and/or band. Bottle Composition: Bottles must not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in their formulation. Turbidity: Water must not exhibit a Turbidity value greater than 1.0 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit). Total Dissolved Solids: The water must not possess more than 125 parts per million (ppm) of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). pH Level: 5.25 minimum to 8.0 maximum. Taste/Odor: Water should possess no discernible odor or off tastes. Quality Standards: The spring water must meet or exceed the Quality Standards set in the FDA – governed 21 CFR 165.110 (Beverages: Bottled Water).
