2. SCOPE OF WORK SECTION 2.1 General Requirements: 2.1.1 The contractor shall provide a river boat and trailer for the Department of Natural Resources, Water Resource Center in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the department. 2.1.2 The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide personnel who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person/personnel provided by the contractor. 2.2 Boat Specifications: 2.2.1 The commercial river boat must include the below specifications: a. All welded aluminum hull. b. Hull shape should be modified vee. c. Minimum length of 26 feet. d. Minimum transom height 25 inches. e. Deadrise at transom is 3 Deg. f. Minimum beam width of 95 inches. g. Maximum load capacity of 3,500 lbs. h. Seating capacity of 10-15 persons. i. Bottom width 72” j. Side height: 28” k. Starboard console with steering, shifter, gauge, switches, l. Auto bilge pump and switch (~1000 gph) m. Battery with battery box n. Horn and horn switch o. Boat should meet all US Coast Guard requirements. 2.3 Motor Specifications: 2.3.1 The motor for the river boat must include the below specifications: a. Yamaha 200 HP four stroke b. Power tilt and trim c. Installation d. Copy of Manufacturer’s Warranty. 2.4 Trailer Specifications: 2.4.1 The trailer must include the below specifications: a. All Steel materials must be used. b. Tandem axle trailer with electric brakes (2 axles), grounded to 7 pin connector. c. EZ lube spindles, d. Heavy duty composite bunks (backing plate to prevent warping if necessary) e. Bows stop with safety chain. f. Manual winch g. Tongue jack. h. 2” hitch i. Spare tire mounted to frame-bracket should use same lug nuts as axle.
