The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (“HACLA”) is seeking proposals from professional appraisal firms that can provide appraisal reports on one or more properties for acquisition purposes. The subject properties (“Properties”) will generally be improved with: 1) existing or under construction multi-family residential buildings, which may include commercial buildings in the process of being converted to multi-family use; or 2) hotels or motels that will be occupied following acquisition as multifamily rental units. In general, the properties will vary in size with up to 1,000 dwelling units or hotel/motel rooms, although there may be appraisals required for properties of other sizes. The appraisal reports will conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice ("USPAP"), as approved by the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation.
