Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor shall provide medical direction in accordance with the Maryland Medical Protocols for Emergency Medical Services, as outlined in COMAR 30.03.03, for the County’s EMS Operational Program. 2. The Contractor shall provide medical direction and oversight of patient care in the EMS Operational Program. 3. The Contractor shall review and provide direction and oversight of all aspects of the EMS Operational Program that impact patient care including planning, development, and operations. 4. The Contractor shall provide clinical oversight, consisting of the development and review of patient care protocols (including attendance at state protocol review committee meetings), quality assurance and quality management activities, as well as clinical training sessions.
