In general, the components of the Project are to: 1. Provide a comprehensive program for the District that may include installation of energy conservation capital improvement projects. The specific nature of the capital improvement projects is left to the Contractor’s judgment but must be clearly identified in the proposal. 2. Provide a more comfortable environment for building occupants. This may include installation, repair, renovation, or replacement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, energy management, lighting systems, etc. The specific nature of improvements is left to the Bidder’s judgment but must be clearly identified in the Bidder’s Proposal. 3. Provide a minimum one-year warranty on all equipment, materials, design, and workmanship from the date of final acceptance by the Owner. 4. Provide training programs for Owner's personnel that enhance the overall efficiency of energy consuming operations within the District's facilities. Bidders are further encouraged to provide a proposed educational program regarding reduced energy consumption for students of the Owner. 5. Owner will incur no start-up costs. The district, at its sole discretion, shall determine the method and term of financing any costs of the Project, if any.
