Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Moline is seeking qualifications from qualified firms to provide architectural services for the exploration and design of the City Hall Council Chambers and Administrative Office Area Remodel Project. Assess office and conference room space, as well as design criteria, with the City’s project team. a. The spaces to be assessed include the first and second floors of City Hall. The basement is currently unoccupied and used for storage. b. Design work will include reconfiguring office areas and conference rooms, along with determining the requirements for furniture, painting, and flooring. Provide conceptual floor plans for the renovation of both the first and second floors. The basement plans should evaluate options for office space for interns and temporary staff, along with designs for a larger training area. Renovations must include relocating the Council Chambers to the first floor, redesigning the vacated Council Chambers space on the second floor, and redesigning the current COW Conference Room on the second floor to office space. The redesign must also include office space options for the following departments/divisions: HR, Finance, Legal, and City Administration. IT is potentially relocating to another building. Provide schematic drawings and other materials that display the final conceptual layout, as agreed upon by the City. Develop probable costs for all approved City concepts and plans.
