Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide 1 pallet of DuraEdge Collegiate Infield Mix or Turface (40-50 lb. Bags) per field. Unused bags of DuraEdge Collegiate Infield Mox or Turface shall remain with the school for use during the season. Specification on the clay/silt/sand ratio must be submitted with your bid. Turf saver pads will be required for entering and crossing fields to install the clay to avoid tracking the fields. All sites, except Socastee High School (SHS) and Myrtle Beach High (MBH) School, will require 25 tons (or one semi-truck load) for each baseball field and softball field. SHS will require only one load for the softball field and a partial load for the baseball field (where only the base islands are skinned). Contractor shall Till/blend new infield dirt with existing and shall be responsible for locating irrigation/quick connect to prevent damage during tilling. The Contractor is responsible for removing base anchors for tilling and grading and then replacing them. Additionally, the Contractor is responsible for redefining clay to grass arc and clay base path edge.
