Specifications include, but are not limited to: The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) is soliciting bids for asbestos tile removal and proper disposal at the Selfridge High School (210 2nd Ave S) located in Selfridge, ND 58568. Removal and proper disposal of approximately 4,872 square feet of non-friable tan colored asbestos containing 9”x9” floor tile and associated mastic located in the Gymnasium (See Attachment 4). The solvent method shall be used to remove the asbestos mastic. Contractor shall provide adequate ventilation methods for any fumes generated by the solvent. A current North Dakota Solid Waste Transporter Permit is required and must include asbestos waste as a waste category the contractor is permitted to haul. An abatement report for the site must be submitted to the NDDEQ before September 30, 2025. The report must include a daily log of work completed at the site and all asbestos waste manifests must accompany the report.
