Timber sale of all timber designated for removal at Pierce County’s Buckley Forestland Preserve (XXX 288th Avenue Ct E, Buckley, WA 98321) in Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 6 East, W.M, containing 163 acres, more or less. All timber marked with blue paint, and additional trees needed for skid trail locations and landings as approved by Timber Sale Administrator, within the boundaries marked with pink flagging, blue and white candystripe flagging, and 288th Ave E in Unit 1 (Commercial Thinning) will be cut, removed, and hauled off-site by successful bidder. All trees marked with blue paint, and additional trees needed for skid trail locations and landings as approved by the Timber Sale Administrator, as described in Schedule B Pre-Commercial Thin within the boundaries marked with pink flagging, and blue and white candystripe flagging in Unit 2 must be cut and removed or scattered. All trees as described in Schedule B Pre-Commercial Thin, and additional trees needed for skid trail locations and landings as approved by the Contract Administrator, within the boundaries marked with pink flagging, and lime green flagging in Unit 3 must be cut and removed or scattered. All trees described in Schedule C Buffer Edge Thinning Prescription within the boundaries marked with pink flagging that can be reached by a machine from the equipment exclusion zone boundary edge marked with blue and white candystripe flagging must be cut and removed or scattered in Unit 4. One habitat pile per 6 acres and one habitat log per acre must be constructed. No downed timber existing more than 5 years from the day of sale may be removed. Old growth stumps (stumps over 3’ diameter) may not be removed or damaged.
