DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED Complete gut of existing restrooms in Allied Health building, Humanities & College Center and update with new components, fixtures, and finishes. Allied Health building: 4 public and 2 staff restrooms Humanities: 2 public and 2 staff restrooms College Center: 2 public on lower lever, 2 public on main level lobby, 4 staff restrooms. • Remove all partitions and hardware. • Remove existing flush valve and toilet. • Remove existing hot water circulating pump (if there is existing) • Remove existing faucets, drains, and P-traps. • Remove existing lavatories, mirrors, paper towel dispensers, and soap dispensers. • Demo and remove existing floor tile. • Paint all walls with pre-catalyzed water base paint, color TBD. • Paint ceiling with standard white ceiling paint • Paint the metal door frames and refinish wood doors – match existing. • Install new ceramic floor/wall tile, matching existing layout. Tile color/style and grout color TBD. Standard commercial grade ceramic tile • Replace existing light fixtures with new LED light fixtures. • Install new vanities, solid surface counter top with integral sink basins. Colors and style TBD. • Install new manual faucets, drains, and P-traps for each lavatory. New lavatories and plumbing must all be ADA compliant. • Install new quarter-turn angle stops and supply lines for each lavatory. • Install new mirrors to match sink layout with stainless steel frames above each lavatory • Install new toilet/urinal and flush valves. The public shall have auto flush valves and staff to have manual flush valves, Zurn type. Toilet/urinal shall match existing plumbing layout. Toilets should be Kohler with 17” to 19” height. • Install new partitions to original layout. Product will be Hiny hiders/Scranton product – hammered texture – stainless color • Add Baby-Changing Stations to all public restrooms • Replace existing roof mounted exhaust fans • Install new hot water circulating pump. New pump should be same size as old pump. (if applicable) • ACM physical Plant will provide and install the following: Soap, paper towel and toilet paper dispensers or hand dryers. • ACM will work with contractor, as we may need to keep one restroom in each building open while others are being renovated. This will be coordinated with contractor once selected • CONTRACTOR WILL SEND ALL PROPOSED PRODUCTS, WHETHER SPECIFICALLY SPECIFIED IN THE RFP OR NOT, TO OWNER VIA E-MAIL SUBMITTAL PROCESS. • CONTRACTOR WILL SEND SUBMITTAL AND PROJECT SCHEDULE TO COLLEGE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PROJECT.
