Specifications include, but are not limited to: CRT is looking to obtain quotes to construct new steps, landing and handicap ramp at one of our sites located at 22 Colt Street, East Hartford as follows: • Remove existing steps and landing at entrance. • Construct new stairs, landing and ramp following ADA guidelines with composite decking and railings (see example below) including lattice deck panels and metal grab railing. • Removal of existing piers and replace with new concrete piers. • All framing lumber shall be Grade 2 pressure treated lumber. • Add a shelf on landing railing. • The contractor shall provide a temporary and safe means of egress from the front door at the end of each day working during construction. • Contractor responsible for the removal and proper disposal of all materials from the site.
