Market Program o Refresh existing PitchNY® assets (logo, color scheme, etc.) for all marketing materials. o Create social media assets. o Recruit Students Create FAQ information and distribute via email outreach. Create “PitchNY® Flyer” and distribute. Host informational webinar events. Create application information and distribute. Conduct a targeted outreach program focusing on NYS Film/TV programs, student newspapers, etc. at NY schools. Collect and review applications. Select at least 40 students, half from upstate. Create “Letter of Acceptance” and distribute. Share final selection of student applications and headshot photos with ESD before acceptance letters are sent out. Serve as point of contact for students, answering questions and troubleshooting logistics issues leading up to event. o Recruit Entertainment Partners, including industry “listeners” for the pitch session. Create “Listener Worksheet” to help guide pitch listeners to give feedback to students. Recruit entertainment reps to listen to pitches. Recruit speakers for panels and wrap-up “keynote.” Recruit speaker for “workshop conference call” before event. Receive approval from ESD for all entertainment partners. Develop the workshop program with ESD approval. o Schedule and manage update calls with ESD. o Coordinate all event space rental and catering. o Plan and facilitate event space including breakout rooms, breakfast and lunchrooms, and panel presentation rooms. o Print signage for event (or re-use what we can from previous years). o Plan program schedule. o Coordinate photographer/videographer to document the event. o Facilitate Check-in. o Moderate panels. o Organize pitch session.
