1. Remove all current Bermudagrass turf on the Great Lawn and Rose Garden Turf, as identified in Exhibit A, totaling 35,000 SF / 3,889 SY. 2. Grade and reshape Great Lawn and Rose Garden area as shown in Exhibit A. All equipment used must be appropriately sized to accomplish this Scope of Work. The finished grade should match the current grade upon completion. 3. Procure and install 35,000 SF / 3,889 SY, or 100 mega rolls of Zoysia grass sod from DARGAN SOD FARM, SC or equivalent approved by ADMIN. 4. Contractor warrants that all goods shall conform to the specifications of the contract, free from defects and suitable for the intended purposes. Contractor further warrants that all services shall conform to the specifications of the contract and shall be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. 5. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, materials, supplies, and labor to perform the work. 6. The services provided will be subject to inspection by ADMIN. All work not in accordance with this specification will be corrected following inspection and notification by ADMIN to the Contractor of the deficiencies. 7. All irrigation heads located within scope of work should be located and flagged before work begins. 8. Removal of old sod will compromise current irrigation system. Contractor must ensure that when new sod is installed, all irrigation components are level with the top of the new lawn. All irrigation components are level with top of the new lawn. All irrigation boxes, sprinklers and any other utility covers must be level with new lawn and newly established grade. Sprinklers need to be installed to original location. All components in system need to be restored with same material if damaged. Additionally, system needs to be 100% operational when work completed. ADMIN will test the system before the conclusion of the project. 9. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to irrigation heads, lines, or system calibration/recalibration during the duration of the project to ensure proper irrigation coverage upon completion of the work. If any damages occur, owner representative or Project Manager must be immediately informed. The Contractor will be responsible for any replacement or repair work and shall be liable for any damages to property caused by Contractor or Contractor’s staff due to operation of equipment in performing the contract and/or damage to plant material due to improper horticultural practices. 10. All brick work must be protected, and any brick damaged during construction must be repaired by a brick mason approved by ADMIN. 11. Removal of sod may expose structures or utilities such as drainage and irrigation lines. All utilities and underground infrastructure must be addressed and restored to current conditions if broken or compromised.
