Routine mowing, trimming, weed cutting, edging and debris removal are required at all sites unless otherwise noted. Routine mowing and debris removal shall be provided in the following manner: A. Contractor shall be responsible for debris clean up prior to mowing each site, along with the legal disposal of all debris cleared from the area. Contractor will not be permitted to use on-site dumpsters. All litter, especially paper, must be picked up before mowing. This may mean getting off of a mower to pick up litter. The City does not want paper chopped up into small pieces. If this happens, the Contractor shall rake and remove all small pieces of paper from the turf. If desired, Parks Maintenance staff can supply trash bags and yard waste bags to the Contractor. All trash can be disposed of in the dumpster at the Devils Glen Park Maintenance Facility located at 1101 Devils Glen Road. B. All sites shall be mowed and trimmed once per week. C. Mowing shall be cut to a uniform height of approximately 3”. No scalping will be tolerated. Uneven mowed grass areas will not be accepted and must be re-mowed at the request of the Parks Maintenance Supervisor.
