The Champaign Park District is soliciting proposals for two distinct service options: Option 1: Vending Machine Services • Vendor will provide, install, maintain, and service vending machines at all CPD facilities. • Machines must include both snack and beverage vending options. • Vendor is responsible for ensuring machines are stocked, operational, and comply with all health and safety regulations. • CPD reserves the right to determine the final locations and number of machines placed at each facility, but is currently seeking the following machines at the following locations at minimum: Douglass Community Center (512 E. Grove Street) - 1 beverage and 1 snack Leonhard Recreation Center (2307 Sangamon Dr.) - 1 beverage and 1 snack Springer Cultural Center (301 N. Randolph St.) - 1 beverage and 1 snack Dodds Tennis Center (2802 Farber Dr.) - 1 beverage and 1 snack. Please note this facility is only open Mid-September through Mid-May. Operations and Maintenance Shop (2311 W. John St.) - 1 beverage and 1 snack. Please note this is for an employee break room w/no public access. Martens Center (1515 N. Market St.) - 2 beverage and 1 snack. • Revenue-sharing proposals are encouraged. Option 2: Exclusive Beverage Provider for Dedicated Concessions Stands • The selected vendor will be the sole provider of beverages (bottled, canned, and fountain drinks), excluding alcoholic beverages or any other types of beverages not offered by the vendor, for the following CPD dedicated concession stands: o Virginia Theatre (203 W. Park Ave.) 2 fountain service machines and refrigerated beverages Operates year round o Sholem Aquatics Center (2205 Sangamon Dr.) 2 fountain service machines and refrigerated beverages Operates Memorial Day - Labor Day Third Party operated o Douglass Ballfield Concessions Stand (501 E. Eureka St.) Refridgerated beverage sales only Operates as needed for games from March – October Third Party operated o Dodds 3 Plex Concessions Stand (1501 N. Mattis Ave.) Not operational at this time but may have occasional 3rd party vendors for tournaments. • This exclusivity applies to both CPD-managed stands and third-party vendors operating CPD’s dedicated stands at the mentioned locations. All third-party vendors operating one of the mentioned stands must purchase their beverage products from the chosen provider. • This agreement does not grant exclusivity for all beverage sales or use across CPD. Renters, outside agencies, and contractors using CPD facilities and parks may supply and use alternative beverages. Additionally, the CPD may allow contracted food trucks, event vendors, catering services, etc. that are not operating the mentioned dedicated stands to supply and use alternative beverages. • The vendor must supply beverage dispensing equipment, including fountain drink machines, and maintain all equipment throughout the contract term. It is preferable that the vendor supply refrigeration/cooler units for the bottled and canned beverages.
