Neither exclusivity nor any specific amount of work will be promised in the Agreement, and the City will decide when and if to request services. Anticipated types of work will include, but not limited to, cutting of grass and weeds, removal of junk and debris, and trimming of bushes and trees. Once the contractor has been given an approved work order from the City, the work should be started within (2) days and completed within (7) days. A. Contractor Requirements 1. Confirm they received the work order within 24 to 48 hours. 2. Once the Contractor confirms they received the work order, a not to “exceed cost” estimate will be submitted to the Planning and Development Director within 48 hours of receiving the Work Order. 3. The Contractor shall require approval from the Director of Planning and Development if the Contractor will need to exceed the not-to-exceed cost of the work order. 4. Once the Planning and Development Director has approved the “not to exceed cost estimate” the contractor shall start the work within (2) days and be completed within seven (7) days. 5. Grass is to be neatly cut and mowed to the street edge. Fence lines, trees, structures, etc. are to be weed wacked/trimmed, sweep and remove any vegetative debris from the property, adjacent properties, streets and sidewalks. Edging to be completed when needed. 6. Tree removal is to be completed with the trunk cut Level with the ground. Stump grinding is not required unless specified in the work order 7. All debris, including all loose, broken, or cut branches, is to be removed by the Contractor daily. Disposal shall be done off site and the contractor shall pay all disposal fees. 8. The Contractor shall submit all dump and or rental receipts with invoices, along with photos of before and after work completed.
