Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 Removal and disposal of existing asphalt shingles, roof felt, flashing, fasteners, and other associated materials involved with project. 2.1.2 Removal and disposal of the four (4) existing skylights and install blocking and plywood sheathing in place of existing skylights. 2.1.3 installation new roof felt and asphalt shingles. 2.1.4 Contractor shall utilize all necessary starter and ridge shingles to complete the work. 2.1.5 Asphalt shingles shall be three-tab shingles with a minimum 25-year life span. Shingles shall nominally be 12” x 36” in size with 5” exposure. 2.1.5.1 Approved manufacturers of shingles shall include GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, and Malarky.
