UNH would like to utilize one firm to provide linen service to various Durham campus locations (Union Court, Dairy Bar, Philbrook, Holloway Commons). In addition, there may arise occasionally the need to launder or rent items which are not included in these specifications. It is expected that linens will be of the highest quality. Rust, blood, mildew and grease stains are unacceptable. Large patches and large numbers of patches on one piece of linen are also unacceptable. Absolutely no patches on tablecloths or napkins are acceptable. The hospitality business is quite sensitive to perception and presentation. All linens must be of first quality materials, processed in a manner that reflects quality and care. Delivery will be once (1) per week on Tuesdays, (most weeks). Soil containers are to be provided at no charge to the University. Items and quantities are noted in Appendix B. Vendors should be prepared to provide samples upon request during the bid selection process.
