B Materials B.1 General Furnish culvert pipe materials according to the pertinent requirements of sections 520, 521, 522, 525, 527, 530 and 608 of the Standard Specifications, CMM 550 and ASP-6. B.2 Corrugated Steel Pipe, Round Furnish corrugated steel pipe materials in accordance with section 521.2 of the Standard Specifications, including culvert pipe, bands, end sections, and miscellaneous hardware. Furnish pre-fabricated end sections that are compatible with the culvert pipe supplied to the Department. Furnish polymer coated or aluminized steel pipe also in accordance with this section when requested by the Department. B.3 Corrugated Aluminum Pipe, Round Furnish corrugated aluminum pipe materials in accordance with section 525.2 of the Standard Specifications, including culvert pipe, bands, end sections, and miscellaneous hardware. Furnish pre-fabricated end sections that are compatible with the culvert pipe supplied to the Department. B.4 Structural Steel Plate Pipe & Pipe Arches Furnish structural steel or aluminum plate pipe arch materials in accordance with section 527.2 of the Standard Specifications, including culvert pipe, bands, end sections, and miscellaneous hardware. Furnish pre-fabricated end sections that are compatible with the culvert pipe supplied to the Department. B.5 Reinforced Concrete Pipe & Storm Sewer Furnish precast reinforced concrete pipe, storm sewer, and apron endwalls in accordance with sections 522.2 and 608.2 of the Standard Specifications, including gaskets, joint ties, and miscellaneous hardware. Furnish pre-fabricated end sections that are compatible with the culvert pipe supplied to the Department. Supply storm sewer to the appropriate Class as ordered by the Department. B.6 Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe Furnish corrugated plastic and polyethylene pipe materials in accordance with section 530.2 of the Standard Specifications, including culvert pipe, bands, and miscellaneous hardware. Furnish prefabricated steel end sections that are compatible with the culvert pipe supplied to the Department according to section 521.2 unless otherwise requested by the Department.
