1. Serve as the primary arborist for the Village for the purposes of evaluating private property tree removal applications, and drafting and monitoring compliance with tree preservation plans. 2. Direct and oversee the Village’s routine/priority pruning operations conducted by the Village’s Tree Maintenance Services Company currently, The Davey Tree Expert Company. 3. Develop and recommend trees located in the Village’s parks, greenspaces and public rights-of-way for removal as needed throughout the season. 4. Meet on a quarterly basis with the Director of Public Works to assess the health and condition of trees located in the public rightof-way. 5. Direct and oversee the Village’s integrated pest management system conducted by the Village’s Tree Maintenance Services Company (currently, The Davey Tree Expert Company.).
