This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Critical Incident Mapping services not for the procurement of a software system. The state is only interested in obtaining mapping data to assist responders when responding to an emergency at a school. The Contractor’s system must be able to share these maps with first responders and 911 operators so that emergency personnel can receive precise and detailed information about the location needing assistance. The awarded contractor must develop, distribute, and maintain school mapping data for every public school in South Carolina. The data will be provided to each school district, schools, law enforcement agencies, and public safety agencies for use in response to emergencies. This Scope of Services defines the minimal acceptable performance by the Contractor in providing these services. The Offeror will demonstrate in its proposal the ability to perform these services for SCDE. Emergencies include, but are not limited to, any event in which a law enforcement officer, firefighter, rescue squad, emergency medical service provider, public safety telecommunicator, or any other emergency management provider or emergency agency responds.
