1.1. Provision of covered/garage parking spaces for a minimum of 300 vehicles. 1.2. Distance of parking area must be no greater than .5 mile from FWRI’s address: Fish & Wildlife Research Institute 100 8TH Avenue SE St. Petersburg, FL 33701 1.3. Parking garage must have adequate lighting in all areas such that the entire structure can be navigated by vehicles and pedestrians without the need for headlights or flashlights, regardless of the time of day or weather conditions, as determined by the FWRI. 1.4. Parking garage must have ADA accessible elevators which must always be maintained and working. 1.5. Provide one-day parking passes for our visitors. 1.6. Provide overnight parking on weeknights for employees that are out in the field for extended time. 1.7. Provide parking for FWRI staff one Saturday a year for our annual Marine Quest event. 1.8. Provide elevated parking for approximately 50 FWC vehicles and 25 FWC small vessels with trailers during hurricane evacuation orders. Equipment will be removed immediately after evacuation orders have expired.
