All line items must be running line products and not special order. Products shall be made available in multiple colors with no difference in cost. All products must meet requirements of the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) Federal Standard FF 1-70, 16 CFR 1630. All products must comply with the State of Illinois Public Health statutory citation, Illinois Compiled Statute (ILCS) – 410 ILCS 48, Brominated Fire Retardant Prevention Act. Antimicrobial treatment to be permanent and durable. Topically applied biological inhibitors shall not be acceptable. Stain Resistant: All products must be stain-resistant and the stain-resistant treatment shall be included. Soil Resistance: A minimum average of 350-ppm Flourine or the pile fiber when tested as specified in test method of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) – AATCC 189 – Developed in 2000 and revised in 2017, or most current version or as amended. Static Protection: A peak electrostatic charge generation must not exceed 3.5KV maximum when tested according to the test method of AATCC 134-2019 or the most current version or as amended. Indoor Air Quality: All carpet products and carpet cushions must comply with the requirements of the Carpet and Rug Institute Indoor Air Quality Green Label Standard. See www.carpet-rug.com for details. Colorfastness: All products must be guaranteed colorfast. Upon request from the ordering entity, the Vendor shall provide on-site measurements to ensure the ordering entity purchases the correct square footage of materials. The vendor shall provide this service at no additional cost. If an item becomes discontinued or otherwise not available during the term of the Contract, the Vendor may propose a substitution of equivalent or better product at no additional cost. This substitution is subject to the approval of the Central Management Services (CMS) Bureau of Strategic Sourcing (BOSS). The Vendor shall under no circumstances make unauthorized substitutions.
