The work consists of new additions to the structure, apparatus bay, and renovation to the station; grading and drainage improvements, new footings/foundations, building slabs, stem walls, insulation, doors and windows, stucco and painting, a storefront system, roof & gutter improvements, interior and exterior signage, interior and exterior electrical & lighting improvements, HVAC system, Fire Alarm system & Fire Alert system, plumbing & fixtures, sewer improvements, a new trash enclosure, gates & fencing, fire extinguishers and cabinets, hardscape and parking improvements, installation of a new emergency generator and automatic transfer switch provided by the City, landscaping and irrigation improvements, asbestos and lead remediation, new interior improvements including but not limited to new partition walls, cabinets, toilets, sinks, restroom accessories, flooring, tile, drywall, finishes, shelving, mirrors, framing, dorm rooms, bathrooms, gym/workout room, office, kitchen, dayroom, storage room, locker room, equipment room, laundry room, reinstallation of salvaged equipment and installation of new equipment and furniture provided by the City, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Project’s Plans and Specifications.
