In general, the components of the Project are to: 1. Provide a comprehensive program for the District that may include installation of energy conservation capital improvement projects. The specific nature of the capital improvement projects is left to the Contractor’s judgment but must be clearly identified in the proposal. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Contractor’s should submit pricing and related guarantees for the general scope of work identified in this RFP. Contractors may also submit voluntary alternates for additional or different scopes of work and guarantees, which the District may consider in its sole discretion. 2. Provide a more comfortable environment for building occupants. This may include installation, repair, renovation, or replacement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, energy management, lighting systems, etc. The specific nature of improvements is left to the Bidder’s judgment but must be clearly identified in the Bidder’s Proposal. See, Section 1.1, above. 3. Provide a minimum one-year warranty on all equipment, materials, design, and workmanship from the date of final acceptance by the Owner. A longer warranty is advantageous to the District on individual pieces of equipment and/or the overall project.
