The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enlist the services of a respected public-safety consulting firm to conduct a thorough evaluation of the Tempe Police Department’s staffing needs and thoroughly evaluate resource allocation. Through this initiative, the selected firm will assess current staffing levels, resource deployment, organizational structure, and projected needs based on growth for the next 10 years. By tapping into the expertise of a qualified external partner, Police leadership seeks to ensure the department is properly staffed to meet the needs of our community, deploying resources efficiently, and plans for future growth in alignment with industry standards.
