The CONTRACTOR, under the supervision of the CITY, shall carry out, at a minimum, the following tasks and provide the following deliverables in completing the scope of work: A. Task 1: Prepare a memo on different examples of existing municipal/community adaptation pathways and processes. Provide a memo on different examples of existing municipal/community adaptation pathways for critical infrastructure and processes for creating them, including lessons learned, challenges, and best practices for ensuring adaptation pathways are clearly defined, potentially effective, and responsive to community needs. B. Task 2: Develop a methodology for creating adaptation pathways for the City. Informed by Task 1 and past professional experience and expertise, develop a methodology for review and approval by the City to create adaptation pathways for at least four critical infrastructure assets of different types, including explanations for the proposed methods. The methodology should outline the sequence of high level milestones that will result in the creation of adaptation pathways. For example, it may include milestones related to information gathering, consensus building on key concepts and terms, creation of engineering studies or cost estimates, and any other steps that you recommend in order to create the adaptation pathways. Upon agreement and approval by the City, the methodology shall be further developed into a full workplan.
