1. Initial Installation: Decorative mulch shall be installed to a minimum depth of 3 inches at all specified sites. Mulch type and color will adhere to client specifications, defaulting to ornamental black unless otherwise stated. Accurate site measurements will determine the quantity of mulch required for each location. Site visits will assess terrain, accessibility, and other conditions to plan for precise and efficient installation. Installation may be completed using hand application, mechanical equipment, or blowing, depending on site needs and contractor recommendations. 2. Annual Maintenance: Mulch depth will be maintained at 1-2 inches annually to support weed suppression and moisture retention. Inspections will evaluate the condition of existing mulch and identify areas requiring replenishment. Additional mulch may be applied as needed to compensate for natural decomposition or displacement. 3. Contracted Services: A qualified contractor will be responsible for all measurements, installations, and maintenance tasks. All necessary equipment, materials, and labor will be supplied by the contractor. Compliance with environmental regulations and adherence to best practices for mulch application and maintenance are mandatory. 4. Documentation and Reporting: Detailed records of measurements, installation processes, and maintenance activities will be maintained and shared with the client as required. Progress updates and reports on site conditions will be provided regularly to ensure transparency and effective communication.
