A. Mow roadside grass and vegetation to a uniform height above the ground between three (3) and five (5) inches. Mower clippings must not be blown onto walkways, roadways, etc. B. Hand trim grass and vegetation within the mow limits that cannot be reached with a mower. This includes, but is limited to, trimming around guardrails, signposts, delineators, utility poles, and landscaping features or trimming in wet areas where machine mowing would damage the landscape. Grass and vegetation must be trimmed to a uniform height above the ground between three (3) and five (5) inches. C. Pick up litter and debris within the mow limits and properly dispose of collected refuse. Litter pickup must be performed prior to mowing to prevent shredding and spread of litter by mowing equipment. The Contractor must bag and dispose of litter in accordance with applicable local and state laws.
