The Project consists of the renovation of an existing two-story historic building for use as a new museum. The building is located at 210 N. Limestone Street in Gaffney, SC 29340. Construction disciplines required for the project include, but are not limited to: Site work: Excavation, rough and finish grading, branch utilities, paving, and trenching for water barrier application. Concrete: Cast in place. Masonry: Unit masonry repair, repointing, restoration, and cleaning where required. Metals: Miscellaneous steel and structural repair. Wood & Plastics: Casework and custom millwork assemblies. Wood framing and structural wood repair where required. Thermal & Moisture Protection: Insulation, Damp-proofing, waterproofing, and roof repair where required. Doors & Windows: Wooden doors and frames, wooden panel doors, and wooden clad windows with insulating glass. All windows are historic and require repair. Finishes: Gypsum board assemblies, paint, stain, acoustic paneling systems. Specialties: Toilet accessories. Equipment: Appliances – provided by Owner, installed by contractor. A/V conduit and equipment installed by contractor. Furnishings: Custom millwork fabrication for exhibits, theater seating.
