Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Hollings Cancer Center needs the Cell Line QC, Superhuman and Cosmic scFv Panning to Enrich for MoT Cell Binders, and Unique Clone Identification and FACS Screening of MoT Cell Binders, along with Sequence Confirmation and Liability Check of all Positive Binding Clones. Charles River is the only provider with an integrated in-house contract research organization (CRO) with a phage custom library with sufficient diversity (~100 billion unique sequences) required for screening for human antigens on T cells. The project is ongoing research that is a continuation of pre-existing funded research at Mayo Clinic where the research was published and switching vendors would jeopardize the continuation of research and may lead to delays to re-invent standard operating protocols. Some of the work has already led to patents US20210270807A1 and standard operating protocols that could only be performed at Charles River.
