1. Contractor shall provide posted or personal service to individuals, organizations, registered agents, or government agencies within Commonwealth of Virginia as part of a court action or pending matter. Service will be executed in the manner and procedure respective to each program as set forth in Virginia Code §§ 15.2-968.1, 46.2-882.1, and 19.2-76.3, or otherwise required by law. 2. Contractor shall conduct biannual criminal background checks on their staff and provide confirmation that the background check has been completed. 3. No employee providing services to the City shall have a record of any criminal activity. Employees with criminal record shall be removed from providing services under this Agreement immediately. 4. All employees executing service shall meet the qualifications required for a private process server under Virginia law, including being of 18 years of age or older and not a party or otherwise interested in the subject matter in controversy. 5. Throughout the contract term, the Contractor shall maintain membership with the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) and shall abide by NAPPS code of conduct.
