Contractor shall provide Medical Director, Back-up Medical Director, and Pediatric Medical Director that are licensed physicians in the State of Tennessee and be able to respond on-site to Metro locations within a one (1) hour timeframe. * Contractor shall provide Medical Director that is board certified in "Emergency Medicine" and board certified in "Emergency Medical Services." * Contractor's Medical Director shall provide a Back-up Medical Director, so that either the Medical Director or the Back-up Medical Director will be available on-call for advice, observation at all times or response to emergency scene (twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week). When the Medical Director is unavailable, he will advise the Back-up Medical Director accordingly, and the Back-up Medical Director will act as Medical Director for the duration of such time. The Fire Department will be advised as to the identity of and means of contacting the Back-up Medical Director. * Contractor's Back-up Medical Director shall perform these services for the Fire Department, in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and civil service rules and procedures. * Contractor's Medical Director shall service as the "Medical Director" for the Nashville Fire Department as contemplated by Rule-12-1-14 of the rules of the State of Tennessee Department of Health Emergency Medical Services Division. * The Back-up Medical Director shall assist the Medical Director, as directed by the Medical Director.
