1. Preparation: a. Pre-construction site walkthrough. b. Provide a renovation timeline for project milestones and final project completion. c. Secure the work site with caution tape as needed. d. Shut off all water supply lines running into the restrooms at the nearest shutoff valve. e. Install flooring protection from the doorway that will be used for ingress and egress between the restrooms and roll-off or dump trailer. f. Partitions, tiles, toilets, urinals, and all pre-staged materials will be stored in a floorprotected area in close proximity to the work area designated by the District Project Manager (DPM). Contractor will provide the flooring protection. g. Install plastic sheeting to contain dust and debris during floor and wall tile demolition. 2. Demolition (none of the disposed materials shall be reused): a. Remove and dispose the existing electrical plates and outlets. b. Demo and dispose of the existing floor-mounted toilets (5). c. Demo and dispose of the existing (1) wall-mounted urinals. d. Demo and dispose the existing urinals and toilet stall partitions. e. Demo and dispose the existing restroom mirrors. f. Demo and dispose the existing countertops, sinks, faucets, and shower fixtures g. Demo and dispose storage cabinets/shelves/benches as needed. h. Demo and dispose of walls and floor tiles and tile cove base throughout showers/restrooms space i. Demo and dispose damaged sheetrock walls and ceiling if needed. 3. Installation of all new materials (all materials are to be provided by Contractor; materials, colors and finishes to be determined and approved preinstallation by the District Project Manager, or DPM): a. Install ceiling tiles and sheetrock walls, if needed. b. Sand and paint sheetrock walls (Designer white – Satin finish). c. Provide and install floor tiles, and tile cove base. (12x24 Ironcraft Matte Casper grey or matching equivalent Unpolished Installed 1/3 Staggered). d. Provide and install wall tiles (12x24 Multitude Glazed Ceramic Origami White or matching equivalent Installed 1/3 Staggered). In the restroom area tile to be installed from the top of the tile cove base to 6 feet in height in the areas the DPM will designate. Shower areas tile to be install floor to ceiling. e. Provide and install one (1) wall-mounted urinals with new plumbing hardware and Sloan valves or matching equivalent. f. Provide and install five (5) new floor-mounted flush valve toilets using new piping, flush valves, and hardware to match the existing Sloan brand. g. Provide and install new partitions using new hardware and brackets. (ASI Accurate Partitions 9205 Black polymer 1” high-density polyethylene (HDPE) toilet compartments or equivalent with doors and wall-hung urinal screens). h. Provide and install new mirrors – size to be determined (TBD) during pre-work walkthrough. i. Fabricate and install a new wood frame (matching the existing size) to support new sinks and countertops. j. Provide and install two (2) new countertops each with two (2) rectangular,18” undermounted sinks (one countertop for each of the two multi-user restrooms). (Berkshire Steel Sculpted Matte Cambria countertop quartz 4” backsplash flat polish edge or matching equivalent). k. Provide and install two (2) new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant sinks in the two ADA-compliant stalls. l. Provide and install new touch-free faucets for all sinks and new shower fixtures. m. Provide and install soap and towel dispensers. n. Caulk and grout areas as needed.
