The Work has been divided into three (3) divisions and be generally described by the following: Division II: 500,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK & FINISHED WATER EXTENSION Including the construction of a 500,000-gallon elevated water storage tank, site piping, fence work, approximately 1,100 LF of 12” distribution piping, grading, and clearing, all as shown and specified. Work is to include site preparation, clearing and grubbing, access routes, piping, tank design, painting, all electrical, SCADA, concrete, and other accessories as shown on the plans. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances and incidentals required to complete this project. The Contractor shall have successfully completed at least five (5) projects of similar size and nature prior to bidding this work The contracting company for the elevated water storage tank shall own their fabrication facilities. Divided responsibilities between erection and fabrication will not be allowed. A qualified supervisor employed by the contractor shall be on site at all times during construction of the concrete to support the structure and water tank. All bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state “Utility Manager” certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.
