It is in the intent of the State of South Carolina, by and through its State Fiscal Accountability Authority, Office of State Procurement to solicit proposals on behalf of the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) from qualified Offerors to provide a Physician Health Program (PHP). The PHP Contractor will provide assessment, case management and monitoring services to licensees of the following South Carolina Licensing Boards: Medical Examiners, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Veterinary, Chiropractic, Counselors, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Physical Therapy, Social Work, and Genetic Counselors with the ability to add some other professions if requested by the agency. The majority of licensees will be physicians and nurses. For fiscal year 2023 – 2024, there were 547 professionals served through PHP.
