Provide all materials in a timely manner. A Dallas ISD Glass Team Leader and/or Manager shall be notified within 48 hours after receipt of Dallas ISD's purchase order to deliver materials. Provide glass that is equal to or better than the glass that is being replaced. Must provide laminated safety glass, tinted and untinted as required. Must provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials used when requested by Dallas ISD. Must maintain an adequate supply of standard replacement materials required under this agreement which are easily accessible from the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. GLASS VENDOR Vendors must provide proof that their firm is currently licensed as a Glass and/or Glazing vendor with the State of Texas. Provide detailed qualifications of employees designated to perform work under this agreement. List the number of National Glass Association certified installers who will perform service under the terms and conditions of this Request for Proposal. Provide glass that is equal to or better than the glass that is being replaced. Must provide laminated safety glass, tinted and untinted as required. Must be able to provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all materials to be used for repairs and replacements, to the site contact person. Emergency services shall be available as needed but are generally expected to only be required during regular hours. Emergency on-site repairs shall be responded to within four (4) hours of being notified of needed services. Provide a list of individuals available for call-out in the event of an emergency. Provide all materials and labor required to complete the repair/replacement in a timely manner. A Dallas ISD Glass Team Leader and/or Manager shall be notified within 48 hours after receipt of Dallas ISD's purchase order to begin repair/replacement. Repairs and/or installations will be performed during the Dallas ISD scheduled work week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST, excluding Dallas ISD observed holidays, unless approved by appropriate Dallas ISD personnel. Must clean and remove all glass and repair/replaced materials from the premises upon completion. Must guarantee all work is water-tight with no glass imperfections. Guarantee to repair/replace at no charge. On occasion when Dallas ISD is not able to secure bulk glass from the supplier(s), prospective suppliers may be asked to help Dallas ISD secure said glass on a case-by-case basis.
