The City of Monroe is currently seeking competitive bids for a trailer-mounted, diesel powered pump. The purpose of the pump will be to send water to our water treatment facility in the emergency that one of our primary pumps should go down. We are looking for a pump to provide the following: Pump Details: Pump shall be trailer mounted. Pump is not required to be critically silenced. Pump shall have flanged connections for suction and discharge piping. Pump shall be capable of dry priming and run dry without causing damage to the pump. Pump must produce at least 7 million gallons per day at 230 total dynamic head and 6.5 million gallons per day at 300 total dynamic head. Pump must come with a minimum of 40’ of discharge hose and 40’ of suction hose to match the Inlet and Outlet side of the pump. One set of drawings and submittals (with Bid). One O&M manual covering required maintenance on the pump, controls and an O&M manual for the specific make and model of the engine. Must be supported by a factory certified service company/technician located in the Southeastern US.
