St. Johns County is requesting a quote from a qualified contractor to provide routine maintenance services for fitness equipment located at eighteen (18) fire stations, (locations listed below), twice (2) annually. The Contractor shall be responsible for adjusting, calibrating, lubricating, and safety-checking all equipment, as well as evaluating the appropriate “test modes.” The Contractor shall email a report to the authorized Fire Rescue representative once all work and inspections are completed. The Contractor shall also handle all warranty billing and claims. The Contractor shall notify the authorized County representative prior to purchasing, ordering, or starting any repairs or replacement parts. All parts for repairs shall be quoted separately, and the total cost for parts, including the purchase receipt, shall not exceed a 5% markup. The Contractor shall be on-call for emergency repair services five (5) days per week and must respond within 8 hours of notification. All emergency repairs must be completed within 24 hours of notification. For non-emergency repairs, the Contractor shall evaluate and complete repairs within 24 hours of notification
