The University of Illinois, located in Urbana-Champaign, is seeking one vendor to furnish and deliver 6% blended biodiesel for highway vehicle use. 6.2 Specifications and Requirements Biodiesel Blending Stock and Biodiesel Fuel Blends shall meet the following specifications: 6.2.1The diesel fuel used for blending shall meet the specifications set forth by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International in the latest version of “Standard Specification for Diesel Fuel Oil, Biodiesel Blend (B6 to B20) ASTM D7467 Specification for Biodiesel Blends, B6-B20, 6% - 20% biodiesel by volume blended with petroleum diesel fuel”. 6.2.1 The estimated annual quantity to be purchased is 102,000 gallons. 6.2.2 Orders will be placed for FULL tanker loads for fuel, approximately 8,500 gallons. 6.2.3 In the event that the proposed posting offered in this bid should cease to publish prices, the University of Illinois reserves the right to select a mutually acceptable alternate publication. 6.2.4 All quantities are total estimated quantities for one year and are subject to increase in accordance with our indefinite quantity requirements. The University does not agree to purchase a minimum quantity.
