Detailed Scope of Work: • Work to be completed mid-July to end of August 2025 • Travel to and from Jug Substation 3105 N. Roan St., Johnson City, Tennessee • Contractor to provide equipment as needed to perform work. • Remove all bushings and pack in crates provided by contractor and customer will dispose • Drain oil into contractor provided oil containment system, if needed • Re-gasket transformers to include all bushings/manhole covers/piping/all accessories • Weld any pin hole leaks • Replace all fans (customer will provide fans) wiring and motor contactor in fan circuit Page 2 of 3 • Tarps should be used to cover area around base of transformer • All gauges and bushings to be masked off prior to painting • Corn cob blast transformer to remove old paint and debris • Sherwin Williams Ansi 70 gray Urethane will be applied to the total surface 2 to 3 mil • All debris to be folded into the tarps and put in a 55 gallon DOT approved drum • Drain and filter oil and perform dielectric test on the oil. Reuse existing oil after move. Contractor responsible for moving oil. • Make sure oil level gauges are clean and functional. • Move transformers to appropriate locations at Buffalo Mt. Substation. • Move transformers (4) from Jug Substation to Buffalo Mt. Substation (310 Innovation Dr. Johnson City, TN 37681) and set on existing pad. • Check all equipment for cracks, damages, and leaks and repair as necessary • Replace gaskets (tank gaskets, oil level gauges, etc.), gaskets provided by contractor • Install bushings provided by customer. • Pressurize transformers to 4 psi and perform leak test • Establish vacuum to <1mm and hold for (24) hours • Fill with oil to appropriate level add new oil as necessary • Refill transformers under vacuum using oil processing rig • Post work test transformers to include Power Factor/TTR/Winding Resistance. • Take oil samples for lab analysis. • Provide documented test reports as required. • Provide in quote an estimate of time to complete work. • Relocation of switch house from Taylor Substation to Buffalo Substation.
