The bid provided for the service described in the scope of the project is for street sweeping operations on residential and commercial streets throughout the City of Olivette. The cost shall be for all necessary labor, material, and equipment necessary for completing street sweeping operations 2 times a year with an optional 3rd pass. Sweeping shall be performed on a schedule determined by the City. Sweeping shall remove debris from all gutters (curb and median) as well as from all travel surfaces. Work must be performed during hours that maximize the amount of debris removed from gutters. When necessary for proper street cleaning, more than one pass will be made on the street without additional charge. Contractor will provide sweepers with hydraulically or mechanically driven pickup brooms, dual gutter brooms, and a chassis mounted vacuum system or conveyor. Sweepers to be equipped with water spray system for dust control. All sweepers supplied shall be street legal and comply with all safety and vehicular regulations including safety lighting. The Contractor shall provide support vehicles when required for traffic control, crash attenuation or debris removal.
