MN StoryCollective, an initiative housed at Minnesota Management & Budget (MMB), is seeking up to five (5) contracted Community Partners to promote, implement, and strengthen this unique community engagement and feedback loop. Contracted Community Partners will work with MN StoryCollective staff to implement a cycle of story collection, sensemaking, identifying practical actions to respond to themes and ideas from sensemaking sessions, and reflection and adaptation; this cycle (represented visually in Figure 1) will repeat again with changes informed by what was learned in previous iterations. Repeating this cycle invites community members to stay engaged in story collecting, story sharing, sensemaking, and recommending changes to the State of Minnesota. This cycle of engagement will provide continuous feedback to the State of Minnesota about the wellbeing and needs of people across the state. This cycle of engagement will also provide multiple opportunities for state agencies to provide updates on changes in policies, programs, and practices based on what is being learned by participating in MN StoryCollective.
