- Clean and Treat Tower – Grind/Wheel Brush rusted areas to remove corrosion, pressure wash, coat affected areas w/ 95% Zinc Cold Galvanization Compound (Type III “ultra-pure” ASTM-D-520 zinc, that meets and exceeds Fed. Spec. DOD-P-21035A). Applied by brush, mitt, roller, per manufacturer specifications. - Supply and install Safety Climbing Device – Tuf-Tug Round Climbing Leg Cable Safe Climb System, Model: TTCSCS-150RCL-SSC. - Installation must be performed by Tuff Tugg certified technicians per manufacturer’s specifications. - Replace step pegs – Replace with like for like, bolt on, standard tower structure step pegs. - Touch up paint as needed to ensure adequate coverage, repair any flaking/chipping occurring during construction process.
