Demolition/Removal Existing Scoreboards 1.) Remove existing scoreboard which includes signage, scoreboard and structural steel. 2.) Remove existing sound system from football display. 3.) Steel columns to be cut to 12” below grade and backfilled with excavated spoils. 4.) Existing electrical will be removed by the owner. 5.) Disposal of steel and excess material will be the responsibility of the installer. Drilled Piers 1.) Drilled pier locations for LED display/Scoreboard to be coordinated and confirmed with owner with assistance from the manufacturer. 2.) Installer to provide required equipment to drill piers two (2) X 3 ft diameter for vertical steel and concrete. Column depth to be 14 ft. 3.) Provide ground or track covering for access to display locations if deemed necessary after site visit. 4.) Installer to remove excavated spoils from pier drilling. Structural Steel 1.) Provide mounting steel columns for each scoreboard to properly support the displays based on local soil conditions and wind loads. a. Preliminary steel selections are provided below. b. Final design to be provided by manufacturer and will be will basis for final erection. 2.) Provide Structural steel for mounting of system control box *Structural Steel requirements are subject to change based on final engineered drawings.* Display Erection and Assembly 1.) Installation will include digging piers, pouring concrete footings, & setting new steel support structures for displays per manufacturer’s engineered drawings. 2.) Engage an experienced installer who has completed structural steel work similar in material, design, and extent to that indicated for this project. 3.) Provide all the equipment and material necessary to complete the installation. 4.) Displays are to be securely mount plumb and square in place. See enclosed rendering depicting LED Displays and steel requirements. Electrical 1.) Provide labor for connecting the LED panels to pre-assembled connections. a. See schematic for representative view of power connection. 2.) Provide final connection to owner provided distribution panel per manufacturer requirements. 3.) Mount manufacturer outdoor system control box. Data Cabling 1.) Provide labor and material to mount data conversion box to designated steel columns. 2.) Placement to be coordinated with manufacturer. Box to be provided by manufacturer. 3.) Provide labor for connecting the interlocking data cable provided with the manufactured LED cabinets. 4.) Make final ethernet drop to data conversion provided by manufacturer.
