5.1.1 The Subcontractor will work collaboratively on the SNAP-ED Program with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension (UACE) in Navajo County by: 5.1.1.1 Coordinate and assist with providing the SNAP-Ed program specific to the Active Living: Development and sustainability of Physical Activity (Social Support Networks). 5.1.1.1.1 Specifically, the subcontractor will coordinate with community sites including but not limited to: Show Low City Park, Snowflake City Park, Show Low Parks and Recreation, Show Low Senior Center, Snowflake Senior Center, and Rim Country Senior Center to support the planning, creating, and implementing of Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) changes that address increasing the social connection between residents to support the development and sustainability of physical activity programs that encourage long-term active living practices. 5.1.2 Coordinate and assist with providing the SNAP-Ed Program specific to Food Systems: Food Distribution and Access, Food Pantries. 5.1.2.1 Specifically, the subcontractor will coordinate with community sites including, but not limited to: Show Low Seventh Day Adventist Church, Shepherd’s Kitchen, White Mountain Helping Hand, Our Lady of Assumption, and Rim Country Senior Center to support the planning, creating, and implementing of PSE changes that address co-collaborating with food banks and pantries to support trauma-informed PSE changes through resource development, technical assistance, and training. 5.1.2.1.1 Specific activities to be accomplished include: Direct Education using approved resources and curricula, Community Engagement, Staff Development, material distribution and marketing efforts, food demonstration and tastings.
