TASK 1 – General Project Implementation task and kick-off meeting. • Kickoff Meeting: Prepare for and attend one (1) project kickoff meeting. A meeting will be held to confirm the scope, schedule, and budget, anticipated project schedule, preliminary design considerations, and communicate overall project expectations. • Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) on the draft and final plans, specifications, and cost opinions. • Project Management: Provide detailed planning and subsequent monitoring and control of the project for two (2) months as well as team coordination and project administration. • Task 1 Deliverables: Kickoff meeting agenda, Kickoff meeting minutes, anticipated project schedule, monthly status reports, and monthly invoices TASK 2 – Design Workshop • The Workshop will include one (1) workshop during the Design Phase with the purpose of reviewing the plans and specifications with the County to collect comments prior to progress with the design. The awarded engineering firm will submit relevant drawings, specifications, and detailed data for each review workshop two weeks before the workshop dates to allow the County adequate time for review and comment. • Provide 90% design workshop including construction sequencing discussions. • Task Deliverables for the Workshop: Workshop agenda, and Workshop meeting minutes. TASK 3 – Final Design Development • The awarded engineering firm shall complete 100% plans and specifications for the replacement of the existing comminutor with a coarse bar screen. The awarded engineering firm shall provide drawings prepared using a CAD system, with standard file naming, layering, font, legend, and other conventions. Technical specifications shall be prepared in the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) format. Revise opinions of probable construction cost (OPCC) for the 90% and 100% design completion levels. Drawings shall be produced in a 22-inch by 34-inch format, with half-size drawings thereby being 11 inches x 17 inches. • Task Deliverable shall include One (1) electronic PDF copy of drawings, specifications, and OPCC for each submittal review and workshop indicated above, for review and approval by the County. Upon final approval by the County, the awarded engineering firm will provide the County with one (1) electronic PDF of “Final” sealed drawings in CAD file format.
