The selected design firm will be responsible for the following tasks: • Architectural and engineering design and construction administration services, using programming and stacking diagrams developed by third party design team (Exhibit 1 – posted separately with this RFP on the Health System’s website – www.gradyhealth.org/suppliers ). • Site master planning to accommodate a proposed eight story tower, comprised of: Lobby and entry floor Workplace floors Research spaces Simulation center Wellness spaces Three levels of parking • Advising Grady of industry best practices and state-of-the-art advances in the design of similar medical academic facilities. • Identifying and implementing elements of sustainability throughout the project delivery. • Developing plans, details, and specifications for the project scope of work as defined in the above referenced document. • Assembling a comprehensive design team to include all required disciplines, including but not limited to geotechnical, civil, structural engineering, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection engineering, medical training equipment planning, food service planning, and project estimating.
