Brewster County is seeking proposals from interested parties for a portable, skid mounted building to be used for operating a rural health clinic in Study Butte, Texas. Building requirements: a. Building should be approximately 450 – 500 square foot in size. b. Building should be affixed to a skid or I-beams to allow it to be moved. c. Exterior, including roof should be of metal construction. d. The building should include at least one door and one window on the front facing side of the building. e. HVAC should include heating and cooling. f. The building should be finished on the inside with the following: a. Two sound-proof clinical rooms with a small sink and cabinets b. The clinical rooms should be separated by a bathroom furnished with toilet and sink. c. A small reception/receiving area should be incorporated into the design. g. Building should have a high insulation rating capable of handling high heat conditions. h. The building should be wired and plumbed and immediately be able to connect to outside power, water, and wastewater. i. The building should have Cat 6 internet wiring available throughout. j. Building should have sufficient moorings/tie-downs to secure the building during high wind conditions. k. Flooring and walls should be of easy to clean/maintain materials commonly used in health clinics. l. Lighting should be energy efficient and minimal maintenance.
